Ready to run in 2026? Here’s what you need to know.
The Douglas County Democratic Committee will qualify candidates:
- Monday, March 2, 2026 – 9 a.m. to noon
- Tuesday, March 3, 2026 – 9 a.m. to noon; 5 to 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 4 – 9 a.m. to noon
- Thursday, March 5 – 9 a.m. to noon; 5 to 6:30 p.m.
- Friday, March 6 – 9 a.m. to noon
Qualifying will be held at St. Julian’s Episcopal Church in Douglasville.
To qualify, make a check, cashier’s check or money order payable to the Douglas County Democratic Committee; qualifying fees will be shared with the Douglas County Board of Elections and Registration.
